L'inizio

Perchè ho creato questo sito? Non lo so neanch'io, anzi non pensavo proprio di poter avere un dominio tutto mio. Il mio primo sito era hostato su Altervista (qui), ma mi dava tanti problemi. Spesso molte pagine non erano ben visualizzate, per non parlare della banda che non bastava mai. Un giorno, parlando con un'amica su msn, mi son fatta spiegare le varie modalità ed alla fine, con l'aiuto di mio padre, sono riuscita a creare il dominio su Aruba. E' stata una grande soddisfazione poter avere finalmente un posto tutto mio, nell'immensità della rete.

Il nome

E' stato terribile dover scegliere un nome, ero così indecisa.. E, come se non bastasse, quelli che sceglievo erano già stati utilizzati. Inizialmente il sito doveva essere Synthetic Passion, poi Synthetic Arts e così via, sono passata dai più banali (Angel, Sweet, Lovely..) a quelli più particolari, fino a quando finalmente digitando Synthetic Dreams non mi ha più dato errore. Beh, non mi è sembrato affatto male.

La collective

La collective è nata il 20 luglio 2007, con una prima versione dedicata ad Angel Sanctuary (o meglio, Setsuna). Pochi giorni dopo è nato anche Mechanical Heart, il mio artfolio. Purtroppo molte persone continuano a confondere i due siti, linkando spesso quello sbagliato. Comunque, l'obiettivo della collective è raccogliere qualcosa su di me e sui siti che amministro, ancora pochi perchè non voglio prendere responsabilità che non potrò gestire per mancanza di tempo. E' un sito piccolo, ma spero possa piacere ugualmente.

Critiche e consigli

The Beginning

Why I created this site? Dunno, in reality it wasn't in my mind the idea of a domain all for me. My first site was hosted on Altervista (here), but it gived me a lot of problems. Often, a lot of pages wasn't displayed very well, and the bandwidth wasn't big enough. One day, talking with a friend on msn, she explained me the various terms and, with my father's help, I created my site on Aruba. Having a place all mine was a great satisfaction, in the vastness of the web.

The name

Choosing the name has been terrible, I was so uncertain.. and, all the names I choiced were already taken by another one. At the beginning the site had to be Synthetic Passion, eventually Synthetic Arts and sons and sons... I changed from the most ridicoulous (Angel, Sweet, Lovely..) from the most particulars, since when i wrote Synthetic Dreams, he was finally free. So, it wasn't bad at all.

The collective

The collective was born on july the 20th 2007, with a first version dedicated to Angel Sanctuary (in reality to Setsuna). A few days before I created Mechanical Heart, my artfolio. Badly a lot of persons confuse the two sites, linking sometimes the wrong one. My collective's objective is to collect something about me and the sites that I administer, there are few because I don't want a lot of responsibility that I can't manage because I haven't a lot of time. It's a little site, but I hope you'll like it.
